MaxTo has gone commercial

Tuesday June 2, 2009

The June update of MaxTo (2009.06) was released today, and is a rather large update. There have been many underlying improvements made to the code, which should make it both more stable and faster.

You can now change the movement hotkeys to whatever you like, so you can make sure they don’t conflict with other applications. You can also save your divisions as profiles, that you can reload later.

The biggest change however, is that MaxTo now costs money. That’s right, it is no longer free. It doesn’t cost much, though, only $9.99 for one year with full upgrades. Even better, you can stick with the version you have when your license expires, and it will still work.

I hope most of you find that MaxTo is worth paying for. With this release, MaxTo is a part of Digital Creations AS, which is the company I co-founded. They now pay me to work on MaxTo a little bit, so expect more updates in the future.
